Edward Emanuel MONTAGUE-WILLIAMS was born in Birkenhead in England in 1895

His parents were Edward MONTAGUE-WILLIAMS & Ada Maude EMANUEL who married on 10th October, 1891 in the Plymouth Cathedral in England - he was their only son

He was a Gunner in the British Army (SN 127133) in the Royal Field Artillery and was awarded a commission in the British Army

His last rank was Lieutenant in the 188th Siege Battery of the Royal Garrison Artillery (British Army)
