Prior to his marriage Roger Ploszczynski, changed his name to Roger Raynar.
Roger was deployed to South Vietnam and joined 1 ARU, where he served from 16 April to 5 May 1969. He was then transferred to the 5th Battalion and served with Support Company, until he returned to Australia aboard HMAS Sydney, arriving back in country on 5 March 1970. - Courtesy of Gary Townsend
