Albert Charles Roberts was the 2nd of 6 children of Charles Roberts and Llily Lavinia Tanner. Albert was a Truck Driver when he enlisted in 1942,
Brothers George William Nelson, Leslie Victor, Francis (Frank) William, and Ronald Portlock also served in the Australian Defence Forces in WWII.
Following his Discharge in 1944, Albert was employed initially as a Barman, and then as an Assembler in Perth, Western Australia
