Pauline Monica Walsh was the daughter of Thomas Daniel and Pauline (bourke) Walsh and sister to Frank, Vincent Joseph, Leo, Cyril, Tessie, and Lena. They resided at Golden Square, Kyneton, Bendigo Victoria. Pauline was a saleswoman when she left school and joined the RAAF in 1943 as a Signals Operator. She married Fred Murphy and had three children. Pauline died of Leukemia 9th November 1964. Pauline had a few siblings that served during WW2 they are as follows;
