Son of Alfred Fabian of Footscray and Hannah Fabian nee Massey of Geelong, Victoria. Brother of Amelia Fabian, George Arthur Fabian, Catherina Fabian, John Fabian who died aged 2 months, Mary Ann Fabian, Alfred James Fabian, John Fabian who died aged 4 days, Florence May Fabian and Percy Fabian who was killed in action on 26 September 1917 while serving with the 14th Battalion and has no known grave. His name appears on Menin Gate, Ypres
