John Conrad BADEWITZ was born in Holbrook, New South Wales in 1889
His parents were Franz Wilhelm BADEWITZ & Julia WILSON who married in 1871 (registered in Albury, NSW)

His brother Henry Carl BADEWITZ (SN 6469) also served during WW1 and returned to Australia in 1918
