Private James Henry Rose
From François Berthout (31/8/2019)
Today I come to visit the Puchevillers British Cemetery for the third time but today I come here to honor the graves and the memory of two soldiers to show my respect for them and their families and for two friends Sara Ollie et Laurel Simmonds.Today I want to present a Respectful tribute to the Private James Henry Rose who fought in the 5th Battalion of Australian infantry who died of his wounds on August 20, 1916 at the age of 22 and for the Private Claude Richard Quarmby who fought in the 1st Battalion of Australian infantry and died of his wounds at the age of 22 on July 23, 1916. May God bless their brave souls and I pray that the rest of these two heroes is always peaceful, you will never be forgotten.🌺🇦🇺
