On 21 April 1915 Clement married Ada Melrose King at the residence of Rev. E.G. Whittle of Prospect, SA
Brother of Harold Frank Cooper who returned to Australia on 27 June 1916 having served with the 27th Battalion, Leslie Charles Cooper and George Alfred Cooper
