Biography

1015 Pte. R. A. Davenport was discharged on 12 Apr 1915 and returned to Australia, considred mentally and physicaly a "weaking". Richad Arthur Davenport reinisted on 12 Nov 1915 and returned to the war, with the new service no. 4772,  and served until his discharge on 04 Aug 1919 at the cessation of hostilities.

Died in 1967 aged 72, and cremated at Springvale (Vic) Crematorium
