"THE LATE PRIVATE R. HARRIS.
News was received on March 20 by Mrs. R. Harris of the death of her husband, Private R. Harris, of McLaren Vale, from enteric fever. He enlisted in August, 1915, and left Australia in the following January for Egypt, where he spent twelve months. He was 22 years
of age, highly respected by a large circle of friends, and loved by all who knew him." - from the Adelaide Chronicle 31 Mar 1917 (nla.gov.au)
