He was 31 and the son of Ronald and Katherine Bremner; husband of Mary E. Bremner, of 572, Boundary and Milne Sts., Brisbane, Queensland. He is one of four Australian casualties of the Great War remembered on the Wick War Memorial.
Wick (Scottish Gaelic: Inbhir Ùige, Scots: Week]) is a town and royal burgh in Caithness, in the far north of Scotland. The town straddles the River Wick and extends along both sides of Wick Bay.
