Robert Millard Pell

Robert Millard Pell SERN 3232A.
Robert's father was George Pell, (1850-1893) and his mother was Elizabeth (Lizzy) Brown (1864-1904). They lived in Dongara, Western Australia and were farmers.

Robert was a labourer and lived at Ora Banda in the goldfields and enlisted on 22 August 1915 in Kalgoorlie.

His NOK was his oldest brother Clarence Bert Pell. His two other brothers were Claudius Claremont Pell KIA at Polygon Wood and Charles Pell.

Robert was wounded in action on 3 October 1918. This was his second occasion of being wounded but this time he died at the 50th Casualty Clearing Station with a gunshot wound to his chest. He died near Picardie on the Somme.

he is buried in the Tincourt New British Cemetery, France. Plot 5 RowD Grave 23.
