Son of Forester Benjamin ANDREWS and Janet Dickson nee BROWN

"...3655 Sergeant Percival Henry Andrews, 7th Field Ambulance Brigade was a 37 year old accountant from Glenelg, South Australia when he enlisted on 27 January 1915. He embarked for overseas from Adelaide on 31 May 1915 aboard HMAT Geelong. While serving at Gallipoli, he was hospitalised with gastritis and frost bite on 10 December 1915, was evacuated to Egypt and then returned to Australia for medical treatment. Sgt Andrews arrived back in Australia on 29 September 1916 and was discharged from the AIF as medically unfit for further service..." - SOURCE (www.awm.gov.au)
