The three enlisted children of Robert John Ahern and Sarah Agnes (née Campbell) Ahern of Alderley, Queensland:-
1382 Dvr. Robert George Ahern (/explore/people/110506) - returned to Australia;
5529 Pte. Archibald Ahern (/explore/people/144187) - killed in action;
6457 Pte. William Henry Ahern - returned to Australia.
'I have had a letter from W. H. Ahern, who is at Altdamm, dated the 24th of March, 1918. He is well. He has had a letter from home.
