Son of George William Edmonds and Kathleen Mary (nee Hough-Clifford) Edmonds of Echunga, SA.; brother of Reginald Clifford Edmonds
Arthur was a well known figure in Echunga and successfully bred Ayshire cattle which won championship at both the locals shows and the Royal Adelaide Show
