Commanding Officer of 2/4th Armoured Regiment 1942-1944
Son of Mr and Mrs J.F. CADDY of 12 Railway Terrace, Port Pirie, Arnold was married with a son and a daughter. Educated at Gawler South Public School he was a tailor in civilian life. He enlisted in October 1939 and saw action if Palestine Egypt and Syria and was enroute to Greece when the forces were evacuated. He was mentioned in despatches for gallant and distringuished services in the Middle East.
