Biography

21977 Warrant Officer Class 2 John Albert Bond Age 39.
Australian Army Training Team Vietnam.
Bond, an Armoured Corps Advisor attached to the 7th South Vietnamese Cavalry was killed in action at 5.30 am during a enemy mortar and ground attack in Quang Tri Province, 150kms north of Da Nang on Anzac day 25th April 1969.
(Awarded the US Presidential Unit Citation for distinguished service in US Advisory Team 1)
